I’ve been writing these types of pieces for a while. I’d written an album a few years ago called Slow Light, which went with an exhibition I’d put together, and it was an experience that you went to in a gallery and listened to a piece of music while you walked through an installation. I’ve always thought about music in a very visual and atmospheric way, and I wanted to continue writing like this—and I’m very proud it’s found a different kind of home.
